EC STUDY Exercise

In this exercise the students are asked to debate on the topic: Do you like/dislike exams?
Then the points are written on the board in support of/ against exams. The teacher explains some study tips like: To study for exams in a smart way follow these tips:
1. Enjoy/like WHAT you are studying.
2. Enjoy/like HOW you are studying.
3. Enjoy/like WHEN you are studying.
4. Enjoy/like WHERE you are studying.
5. Enjoy/like FOR WHOM you are studying.
6. Enjoy/like WHY you are studying.

THINK IN ENGLISH FOR EASY COMMUNICATION WITH FELLOW BEINGS

Can you play chess without learning the rules? No
Can you enjoy football without knowing the rules? No
Can you understand Mathematics without first learning Addition, subtraction etc.? No

Similarly can you make English sentences without first learning the logic of sentences? No
 
Sadly, unfortunately, ridiculously, this is how English is taught in many of our educational institutions.
Of course, there are students who learn the logic of making sentences in English subconsciously but this is mainly because of their English savvy parents or their interaction in an an English friendly environment. But for a vast majority of students this is not the case. So this illiteracy in making sentences in English language is what creates an English divide among our people, making them dissatisfied/disconnected with their educational system which they think is not trying to understand their needs and aspirations with regard to equipping them with the right life/educational/relationship/career skills.
