The teachers can give some sentences to students for them to speak to the audience and see how they respond to what was said. It is meant to create an effect by using your communication.

These sentences can be: 

1. I am here for the first time. Can you tell me what kind of courses are             conducted here for the students in this institute?

2. Today while coming here I saw a movie shooting/a crowd/ a procession?

3. I have reserved two tickets for a movie. Who is interested to come?

4. You know I am going to Bangalore for two days.

5. I am having a lot of doubts regarding this topic. 

6. I read a book called "Life of Pi"

7. I have some work tomorrow at Hotel Taj.

8. I got 100 likes in one hour for a post.

9. I changed my mobile/bike.

Asked the teams to write a scene that they have seen in a movie according to their convenience/comfort and then bring it to life before the audience by dialogues, emotion and action.

Gave a few situations to the students sitting in teams. They have to write a script having dialogues and action and then enact the script.

2. A customer (who has come to make a complaint about a product/service)         talking to help-desk or customer-care. 

3. A candidate (who has come to ask for votes) talking to a voter.

WRITING IN TEAMS EXERCISE

WRITING PARAGRAPHS WITH TEAMS

Asked the students to group themselves into teams having five members. Thereafter these teams have to write a paragraph(five to six sentences) on any topic of their interest with all members contributing at least one sentence .

"GUESSING THE CELEBRITY" GAME

"GUESSING THE CELEBRITY" GAME with SID(Speech, Interaction, Discussion)

In the beginning the students are asked to form teams of five to six members.

First step: SPEECH

In this game asked the students to say six things in a SPEECH about a celebrity say an actor. These six things are:

About 1. age, 2. height, 3. physique, 4. complexion, 5. facial features, 6. nature/character.

Second Step: INTERACTION

After this small speech the teams ask a Yes/No question(INTERACTION) about the unknown person so that they are able to figure out the actor.

Third step: DISCUSSION

Thereafter the teams discuss among themselves to come to an agreement about who the person might be.

FINAL STEP: DECISION

Finally all the team leaders submit their answer papers together.

The right answer(s) is awarded a point or a star.
